That my music has reached about 500,000 listeners
on the radio worldwide in the last half year is a
beautiful validation – especially because I recorded
some of these tracks years ago. After the radio
airplay has settled down after some initial peaks,
it looks like the momentum will carry on a bit
longer. Making this possible are a total of over 60
jazz and culture stations worldwide: from stations
like France Musique and CBC Music (Canada) via fixed
rotations on Jazz24 (Seattle) and Shonan Beach FM
(Japan) to the nationwide jazz network in Australia
and the many smaller and medium-sized stations.
Apart from the purely theoretical million-reaches
that the very big culture giants have on paper here,
it is about the people who probably had tuned in
while the tracks were running. Knowing that the
pieces from the two albums "Jazz Trio" and "Live in
Ljubljana" (with tracks like "Theme No. 1 (Live)",
"Little Note", "Romanian Concerts", "Major Max" or
"Prokofiev") reach so many people out there in sum
is a wonderful incentive for the upcoming projects.

Sept. 17th, 2026: My track "Romanian Concerts" was broadcast tonight on the public French radio station France Musique. The track was played at 7:25 PM on the jazz show "Au cœur du jazz". It features the trio line-up with Peter Strutzenberger (double bass) and Heimo Wiederhofer (drums) from our album "Live in Ljubljana", released in 2023 (Alessa Records). Many thanks to the host Nicolas Pommaret for the airplay.
